Marlene Correia, EdD is an associate professor of literacy education at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Her research interests include exploring the 5 Kinds of Nonfiction (Stewart & Correia, 2021) and examining the mentoring models of beginning teachers. Marlene has presented at local, state and national conferences. She is a past-president and current Board member of the MA Reading Association.
